You Know You Can't Blame Me For This

As the days in 2009 are steadily getting smaller I must admit to being extremely busy. I have many things coming up and so I decided to make a short list of the things I must do before the end of the year. Apart from that I have decided to tell a close friend of mine the truth. I can't say that she took it well but she was not that bad. I think she was just pissed that I had not told her before but now that it's out in the open I think she has at least accepted it. Now that I have her on my side I actually got her to help me with Christmas dinner tonight.

Other than that I have a couple of things to do for the UACA as well, mostly preparations for next year's calendar. I think a little surge of funds to help us get through the worst of our battles would maybe help get through the war altogether. After all, I did promise that we would end this ridiculous feud this year and since we have indeed seen some progress I can only say that it probably will happen early this year. It's looking like a very good year for the UACA even though it hasn't even started.

With the council, I really can't say the same. It is going to be a really busy year for all of us since it is the new decade and we have to take a census of our own. Sure, it doesn't include as many people as the one in the US but the area that we have to cover is larger. It will take quite some time but it is worth it in the end. Then again I don't even how it's used but I guess I will find out.

Those are my main concerns going into the new year plus I have much smaller things to take care of before the year is over but today is Christmas Eve and I had hoped to celebrate it. I have all my old friends over and most of my family coming over so it should be quite interesting to see what happens. So until next time,

Never Trust My Deadlines

Eleven days later...

I had actually began writing this post on the third but other things came up and I had placed it on hold for a couple of hours. Well those hours turned into days as the problem that I was dealing with escalated. Anyway, I have the first FAQ questions that I got from last month. The next post WILL be on the fourth no matter what. For now here are the top ten questions asked by people in the order of how many times it was asked.

FAQ Part One:

Q: Are you a masochist/sadist?

A: Why do you care? I know I had said that I was neither of the above but now I must have to ask myself seeing as everyone always asks me this. I honestly don't know, I can't deny that I have fun torturing people but I wouldn't know whether or not that says anything. Find me the definition of masochist and sadist and then maybe I'll answer it correctly.

Q: How many cars do you have?
A: How this made number two I have no idea. Once again I'm not sure if it means just my cars or if it also includes Jareth's cars that I drive on occasion. As for cars that I have that would include a Hummer H2 and an H3, a Ferrari California, A Mercedes Benz SL600, and a new BMW Z4 that no one has ever driven.

Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Really? Purple. How do people not know this?

Q: How is it that you have children at your age?
A: They are in fact not my biological children rather they are my cousin's (who I know most of you should know) who passed away three years ago. As their godmother I took them in and I protect them as if they were my own.

Q: How do you feel about people saying that the only reason why you earned your position is because you're related to Giovanni?
A: If you want it you can have it, because I certainly did not ask for it. My entire life I have been trying to escape that stereotype and I'm quite sick of it. Let me ask them something back, why isn't any of my predecessors the one who got the job? I'm pretty sure they're closer decedents of Giovanni than I am.

Q: What is so special about the school that you seem to love it so much?
A: I have really never been sure. I guess it's just a way to escape all of the insanity that awaits me once I leave school. I have friends who I can somewhat trust and I like being around them. There's no real reason of why I like the school but I guess that it's a way to enjoy myself and be provided by some entertainment.

Q: Who is in charge of your family is it Jareth or you?
A: A little of both, he sets the rules but I enjoy breaking them just to irritate the heck out of him.

Q: Are you crazy?
A: Maybe? I don't know what the definition of crazy is but I can always assume that I am.

Q: How does it feel to have so much control?
A: I don't know...I wasn't aware that I had that much control to begin with.

Q: What is your favorite song?
A: I like these random questions that seem so innocent at times. I could never say that I have a favorite song seeing as that could change from moment to moment.

A Little Bit Of Heaven

It really is a shame that it has to end so soon. Accounting the number of people who joined my little surprise party last night, I had a pretty spectacular time. Nothing says happy birthday more than a beach party in Hawaii. The island of Lanai is very private but last night I'm sure we got many visitors intruding on the sudden party and they all stayed around. I learned that I have become so addicted to the beach that I don't know how I've been living all this time without realizing. I want to thank all of you for all the birthday wishes and presents along with the people who came to the party last night. I want to send a special shout out to Gerard and Samuel for the spectacular present that they gave me last night. I'm sure everyone enjoyed that as well. I wish I could stay a little longer but unfortunately there's work to be done and so I'm leaving exceptionally early tomorrow. I'll talk to you guys later as I get around to it.

I Am Doing Absolutely Nothing Now...

I'm actually on my way out but I thought I might just post something in the meantime. The current consensus is that I really should just be home or possibly tied up somewhere. I think that if I can go to school with the people that I do I should be fine in all situations. I'm battleing my chance to go to a Halloween party tomorrow because most people have decided that I should not be around people for the time being. Convienently I didn't need to go to school so that at least is okay.

More than anything I guess I'm really annoyed. I wanted a chance to go and I'm definately worried about my friend who will also be going to the party. Anyway, I'm going to ice skate now...or at least that's what I'd call it. We froze water on the neighborhood parking lot and it's finally frozen enough to take our ATV's and skate over them. I might or might not post something tomorrow depending on how bored I am.

In the meantime the lot is open for everyone who lives in the neighborhood.

Rumors And Cross-Examinations

I'm posting this to disprove everyone who has been spreading the rumor that I'm dying. I am in an unstable condition but it is not something that is fatal or otherwise perilous. I am still conducting all work in the UACA and the Council. The reason for the rumors was my sudden disappearance after the keynote speech last night. I have been examined by Council doctors who have diagnosed me. I should be fine in a few days and back to doing everything.

Other than that I have a little rant to share. In the past week all of my email addresses have been filled up with a ton of questions from people who read my blog. While I usually answer all of them one at a time I have found that many questions are constantly repeated. In that spirit I am going to make a FAQ post once a month with the top ten questions that I get asked. Be mindful that there are some questions that I can't answer on the blog but other than that there is basically no limit to what you can ask. If you wish to submit a question you may send it to my email. The first post will be made on Wednesday, November 4th at midnight. This really is an opportunity to get to ask me questions and learn more about me.

I can't say I'm particularly excited for this though...

Lesson Of The Day: Shopping With Family Usually Leads To Unwanted Attention...

This is going to be more of a casual "what I did today" kind of post.

Since I really had nothing to do I went shopping with Jareth, Amy, and Tony. It was quite a sight to see, we managed to get quite a bit of attention. Jareth has rarely ever gone shopping at malls, usually he picked all of his clothes from a catalog and they were delivered to him. Now that I'm going to the mall once a week I usually picked out his clothes (that really managed to get me attention at the stores), anyway he was acting like a child today picking out everything that he liked and many things that he really didn't need. It really entertained me.

The part that he is never going to live down is an eight year old girl who was shopping at Nordstrom with her mother. Seeing Jareth she went up to him and asked if he was a vampire. Jareth got really confused and asked why she was asking that and the girl tells him that he sparkled under the light. While I was laughing my head off Amy responds that her dad is a real vampire unlike the ones in the Twilight world. Ah, the fun of kids...

It feels so weird that after two months of insanity I am just going to school and being normal again. Everything seems so calm now that I must ask myself "is there really nothing I need to be doing right now?" Apparently not...

Note To Self: Never Say "What Could Possibly Go Wrong?"

I can't stand my bad luck anymore. I have found out that in the few days that I have been gone everything has gone wrong in headquarters. Even with half of the people gone it should have been able to run without any problems. Then I realize that the people who were left there are not suited for the job. We're going to have trouble with the VMZE again apparently and I have no idea why (of course this is really normal considering I never really knew why we had a problem with them in the first place). I'm quite tired of this now...

Anyway, that could not have been the only piece of bad luck that I had. My friend was being taken charge by some of my people from the council and I just realized how they were doing it. It is not the way that I wanted it to be handled but I have no choice anymore. I am going to let them keep doing it but for the record I do not approve of their methods.

I start school tomorrow and I can honestly say that it is going to be my savior from this week of insanity that is bound to happen. I have to go to school with my friend and keep her from ruining everything. Then I have to take care of the current problems in headquarters. In theory, I should be able to solve all my problems by saying two words but then again it would not be done in the morally correct way.

I wonder what else can happen...

Last Update From Helsinki... The Tournament Is Finally Over...

The ball having been formally ending, the tournament is officially over. I am proud to say congratulations and get ready for another year. It is 1:30pm here and Jareth and I have been frantically getting our bags and leaving towards the airport. The plane will leave earlier than I have mentioned so I should be back home in no time. I should arrive in DIA at about 6pm. It's funny how I'm going to be making it home in four hours when it took me twenty two to get there. Time zones are so useless. Well I think I have to go board a plane now. Nicole and Alex are somewhere at the party but I would rather not talk about it right now.

Tournament Update (Day Four - 12:00 AM)

So the party has just ended and preparations for the ball have begun. I wan to personally thank everyone that showed up, all the performers, and the guys who brought the food. I also want to congratulate you people for going through all of this. The ball will begin at 5 am today and of course this is a formal event.

This reminds me to mention that it was a year ago when Jareth proposed to me (technically tomorrow since that was the day of the ball last year). Also reminds me that we started "dating" (technically except not really) about three years ago. It's amazing to see the crazy stuff we've been up to since. I was definitely not expecting that.

Well anyway, I hope that you will all enjoy the ball. Don't forget that there will be more partying after the ball is over. I suspect the more scandalous things are to occur there where I'm not watching. This will be the last post I will make until about 12 hours from now.

Tournament Update (Day Three - 5:56 PM)

With about an hour to go until the start of tonight's party I wish to remind all of you that while this is not a formal attire event a reasonable ensemble is encouraged.

That's the only part that I was to officially say. Just keep in mind that there will be ten year olds here. Stop being sluts and dress with some respect. Guys this is not a chance to hook up with some random girl that you'll probably never see again. Girls, don't fall for the name game because who knows if they will keep their jobs in a week besides me.

We will not have the insane amount of alcohol that we had last year (as if anyone wanted last year to happen again). In fact, besides the toast that will be given at the ball tomorrow there will be no alcohol at all. You guys lost the privilege that we had given.

This is my warning for all the people who are coming to the party. If I see someone doing something that I deem to be inappropriate or someone acting inappropriately I will have them kicked out and other consequences may follow.

Tournament Update (Day Two - 11:10 PM)

I finally had the ability to get up. Seven hours... That must be a record of longest time that it took me to rest. Then again not all of it was really used for resting. I got around to unpack my computer and write a post. The phone does get quite irritating to write on after a while.

In the news of the tournament, we've decided to laze off tomorrow morning but start the party at 7pm tomorrow evening. We will continue the party through the 23rd as we have added more people for the set list. At midnight beginning the 24th the party will end and there will be a five hour delay to begin the official tournament ball. The ball will last from 5am to exactly 12pm that day. This will include the formal tournament conclusion. Festivities will continue during the rest of the 24th and all day on the 25th.

Jareth and I will be departing Helsinki at 3pm the 24th so the tournament is a little shorter but the day that was cut really was quite useless as anything but rest. I will be delivering the keynote in the Main Headquarters Auditorium on the 28th at 10pm. It will take approximately three to four hours. Passes for this event are being distributed to the board first and then additional passes will be given out by invitation. This only serves to remind me that I'm not done with the keynote yet.

So now I'm going to screw up my computer by doing a bunch of things at once...starting with the keynote.

Tournament Update (Day Two - 3:37 PM)

Hey, I'm getting better at updating at my favorite time. This is not really going to be a real post rather I'm just seeing what I can write on my phone. I am planning to rest at some point in the next three hours so don't bother me. I'll have something on the first party once I decide to get up and do something. I am currently sitting around my hotel room with Jareth staring at our favorite TV channel (A black screen with random white moving across it). We are so tired we really don't want to get up. Tournament Update (Day Two - 2:06 PM)

That was quite brutal, I'm not sure Nicole and I can bear to look at each other for a bit. I'll explain everything a bit later once I have a chance to collapse on the bed some more. We decided to have a 24 hour rest period which means that the party and the ball will be moved up a day or so. Right now I'm really not in the mood to talk so I'll be making a post in a couple hours once I actually have a chance to relax.

Tournament Update (Day Two - 1:33 PM)

This is the last post that we shall be making since the end is in sight. It is going to end up that Laura and Nicole will win the tournament as long as they don't stop to strangle each other before the finish line. Laura is about a half hour ahead of Nicole and they are about another hour from the others. As far as this goes we are quite proud of them. We assume that she will post something as soon as she gets around to it. Thanks for sticking with us.

Tournament Update (Day Two - 10:41 AM)

Things have been quite interesting in the last five hours. The physical side of the fight is over as Laura tied Nicole up to a tree with a thick vine. The verbal fight however has escalated into a yelling match that they are exchanging between each other. At this point it is a bunch of codswallop. I can see Laura being narked from over here but she actually got back to focusing on the tournament.

Tournament Update (Day Two - 5:29 AM)

It has been five hours since the last post and the most interesting thing that seems to be developing in this tournament is the fight between Laura and Nicole. Nicole caught up with Laura about ten minutes ago and then they somehow managed to get each other caught in the vines. I really have no idea what their problems are with each other but one would think that they could wait. This might just cost both of them the tournament. Laura and Nicole were about two hours ahead of the rest and now they are reaching the one hour margin. I wish I could just go and yell at both of them.

Tournament Update (Day Two - 12:13 AM)

It is a little past midnight and the only interesting thing that has happened is that Nicole and Laura seemed to have gotten into a fight in the middle of the tournament. No one could really hear what they were going on about but Laura tripped Nicole and moved on. Currently she is in the lead but she has probably lost some ground because of the fight. There is nothing else that has happened since so I'm probably just going to not post unless something else happens.

Although she specifically asked me not to let Jareth near this thing I think it would be better if he gets a say as well. The tournament is nearing four hours and there is little to say from the girls. As far as we can see this will actually be a more competitive tournament for them than what it was for the guys. Jareth will be posting something here now.

I, of course, will be cheering for my wife. The tournament is quite dull but is blatantly useful. We seem to have little to do but write in this blog. As for myself I have little reason to comprehend why it is that this blog is so vital. It is quite important for her to have someone tell the world about everything that seems to happen. It almost seems to be her speciality. I'll be gobsmacked if she stops posting on her blog.

I'm quite excited to inform you guys that Jareth and Alex Montrose are declared the winners of this year's tournament. I'm quite excited as this brings us back our experienced leaders. I'm quite motivated for the tournament now (as I'm sure Nicole is as well lol). I still can't believe that a ten kilometer race took over 17 hours to complete.

So as everyone started cheering at this end I can only assume that the winner is close. I'm hoping for the best and of course I had to hear the news. I wait a bit and finally manage to hear the name that is going around. So I don't leave the ones who are not here in suspense I will tell you that it is Jareth. I'm all over excited now and I'm just jumping up and down in glee. We'll find out who the other is in a short while apparently so I'm going to post another time before I get started. I asked Keith to make some posts while I'm in the tournament. I was going to get Jareth to do it but I don't want him to read what I have and I also assume that he will want to rest. Tournament Update (Day One - 3:37 PM)

Yay, my favorite time! We still have not much news regarding the guys and their little adventure. People say that it could still be another hour before we have a winner. On the bright side it looks like Jareth has a bit of an advantage in the end. This is usually the part in the tournament where the last ones standing have a bigger gap in between them. Well, I'll be here waiting for the answer. Keith has recommended that I start warming up but I'm feeling lazy now.

Tournament Update (Day One - 1:48 PM)

I think I'm going insane by now. I have literally spent the last hour playing hangman with Nicole and Keith on one of the whiteboards. We had to stop because we went through the 213 words that we could come up with. This is definitely a pathetic waste of time. I've been doing so many random things for the last 13 3/4 hours with random blog posts in between. I think I'm going to go play some real hangman now. Preferably with the ones that came up with this year's tournament.

Tournament Update (Day One - 11:38 AM)

I'm sure posting a lot this year. I guess that I'm just so bored that I have nothing better to do than talk to the blog. As far as we know the tournament just got worse. The rainy weather is definitely not helping matters. Why must the tournament be in the worst month of the year. It's always freezing and usually raining or snowing while we're trying to compete. It really doesn't matter where we are but the weather is usually terrible. Or maybe that was the point? Regardless of the weather, I'm still bored and I wish I could go outside of this stupid tent and get some fresh air. I'm dying here!

Tournament Update (Day One - 9:50 AM)

Almost ten hours in and all we're hearing is that they just all barely made it past the halfway point. Many rumors have been getting to us that the tournament is brutal and that there are many injuries. Then again that's just what we're hearing since we can't actually see what's going on. Keith says I'll be fine but he did warn me not to panic or get nervous. Now I'm getting nervous about being nervous. Thanks a lot Keith. I hope Jareth's alright.

Tournament Update (Day One - 7:51 AM)

Another update since I have nothing to do. I'm not allowed to have my laptop but I can use my phone as long as I'm not receiving messages from the outside world. Oh well, I guess I'll just write this on my phone then. Still no major news of the guys. Last year this tournament lasted about 8 hours. This year? I heard that they were not even half way yet and it has been almost 8 hours now. This is quite disturbing. I can't wait for our turn. Nicole and I have been talking and we're getting a little impatient. I don't remember being impatient a couple of years ago but that was when the tournaments actually lasted quite a long time. Are they finally reverting to the old ways?

Tournament Update (Day One - 6:03 AM)

There's still not much to report. I really don't have anything better to do. Everyone who is watching gets to see what's happening while we're all stuck here with nothing to do. I'm going to go see if I can get my laptop while I wait. Last year we finished the tournament in less than 24 hours for both divisions but by the sound of things it's not going to happen this year. We do in fact have 48 of "official" tournament time plus the extra 48 of delay. I don't understand why they don't cut that time if the tournament usually has lasted less than 24 hours for each. Especially now that the tournament has pretty much been cut down to be less than 12 hours. Tradition I guess...If we're done early this year we're going to move the party and ball over the days and just have extra celebration at the end.

Tournament Update (Day One - 4:48 AM)

So about four hours into the tournament and we still have little word here. I hope the best for the guys (especially my husband who I'm rooting for) and as promised this has proved to be quite the impressive setup. The tournament course is longer than usual and the difficulty is proving to make the guys stumble. This fares bad for the girls but I have confidence in our abilities. The only thing I hate is the lack of plain ground to run on. I'm quite impressed on how well Keith prepared me for this terrain. If I didn't know better I would totally say that he was on the committee. Or maybe he is? Well I can only hope that it's easy enough.

This is going to be a long day so I think I'm going to go get a meal now. Keith told me to wait but after the lunch that I had with some people here (more details of this to come at a later date) I really think I deserve it.

I'll probably post another update sometime later and the results as soon as I get them.

So the tournament is about to start and so I'm ready to finally get to some hardcore blogging. I was going to post earlier but the time changes are difficult. I'll get to posting more during the morning until the first tournament is over. I obviously won't post on the second day but I'll get around to it the third.

A Special Surprise For Everyone!!!

No, not what you were expecting...
Just another update before I leave for Helsinki. As soon as I get set up over there I will remember to do some other posts. Of course I shall be updating throughout the first day and the third. I will have to leave after the main events so we have tried to reschedule the tournament slightly and reduce the wait time. Then again, if people are as diligent as we were last year we should be perfectly fine. None of the events have been removed and there will be festivities on the 25th. Jareth and I are returning then but there's no reason the party can't continue.

For those who were wondering why I'm coming back so soon I would rather make a brief statement here rather than explain it a hundred times over. There are two reasons why I will be returning to my home early. The first is because I go to school and although I am in fact in fall break, I would rather get home early to be prepared for school. I know this is not a valid excuse and it's definitely not my real excuse. An acquaintance of mine had a serious misstep with one of my close friends and she is basically in a critical state. She requires constant attention and so I must return to help her. I should not leave her for the length of my stay in Finland but I'm doing so anyway.

I know most of you won't be satisfied with my explanation but it is all that I am going to publicly share.
I really have nothing else to talk about regarding the tournament or my friend.

Okay, this is just basically going to be an information page regarding the days of the tournament. I would have usually had this for you long before but we just barely got all of the information today. What's wrong with the committee?

This of course is just a basic schedule. I can remember that last year we ended a bit early. I personally hope so because I have to get back to school by Monday which means leaving a day early. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Many of you have skipped school for a week for this. This is another benefit of studying at the academy.

Anyway good luck to everyone out there. I hope you all plan to watch or participate. It's always a blast and never the same. I've heard rumors that this is going to be the hardest yet and that they didn't want anyone to know the location to make it hard to inspect the area. I have a bad feeling about it.

I Actually Have An Excuse This Time...

Yes, I know I haven't posted on the blog for a while but since we are 12 days away from the start of the tournament you have to give me a break and realize that I'm working my butt off for this. The rest of us have been trying to reestablish our old group so we're busy. I am going to post less as the final days come by but I finally had time to post a recap of some of the things that we've done.

I have been starting up a "game show" with the rest of the crew. We have no idea what we're going to call it yet but rest assured that it will be quite entertaining. More details will come later as we're a little busy with the tournament still. I'm not too worried about transition but that might just be me being over confident.

Alex Monstrose and Nicole have started dating. As much as I would like to spill the details (which personally make me crack up) I value my life too much. If you happen to see them just tell them congratulations and then run for it. I'm just kidding, I really don't think I've seen Nicole this happy for quite some time. Alex Sterling has started up a new art funding program. He's trying to steal our prodigies but that's not going to work since we can do it better than him. Anyway, if you want to get some funding for your artwork and you think that you have the skills you can talk to him. Some of you have been asking what happened to Trevor and Hunter. Trevor is in Bulgaria trying to establish a new headquarters there. He'll be back soon. After about a month, I finally saw Hunter again. He's been avoiding me since my wedding (can't imagine why) and finally today he came by to say congratulations (and then promptly asked me out on a "business" lunch. Oh, if he only knew...

Training has been cutting into my time that I've had to keep up with the UACA. I still pass by headquarters when I need to and I do most of my work by phone now. We're planning some new additions of the main headquarters so there's much to look forward to this coming year. Once again I'm being optimistic but hey, I want to win. Jareth is in his last year with the UACA so that will be quite interesting to see what happens when he's gone seeing as I plan to keep my spot. I really think that when Jareth's gone then Keith should totally go for it. I know he can win this if he wanted to. Just like him and Jareth who had never wanted to compete, there are a lot of people that could probably win if they wanted to. These are the people that should really consider it.

In completely unrelated news, I know what I'm doing for Halloween. I'm hanging out with some of my closer friends which means that I'm going to be acting like a crazy teenager. Anyone have any good costume ideas? I know I'm a little too old for this but at this point I don't care. I am really excited for my birthday which comes up in about a month. I really am getting old. At some point I will have to start acting my age, but that can come later.

In my ideal little world I would get a chance to see AFI at my birthday but seeing as they're on tour this year I have to hold off. In other news I got floor seats to see them in December here in Denver. I'm totally excited seeing as it will be the first time I see them performing Crash Love songs. Can you say a little obsessed?

Anyway that's all I'm posting right now. I will post something in about an hour or so when I get my next break regarding the tournament. Helsinki is not the best place in the world for this...

So The Time Has Finally Come...

Crash Love is finally out and I'm enjoying the sensation of listening to the album for the first time. At least in its entirety I can appreciate it for the art that it is. I'm actually still downloading the LP version on iTunes and even though I received the deluxe edition earlier today I waited for midnight. I'm also going to download the songs on my new phone that I aquired earlier today. It has been quite the great day for me overall. I'm excited to say more except Keith is expecting me back by 12:30 and I have not gotten anything that I needed to do more than halfway done.

I'll post more about everything later but for now goodbye...

So Much Time Yet So Little To Waste...

I can't even begin to describe the amount of oddities that have occurred in this last weekend. I was first of all stuck for about twenty four hours in a rolling chair and trying to do work stuff as well as get out of said chair. I was fairly unsuccessful but I managed it eventually.

Other than that I have been getting together the keynote and training even more. This leads me to where I am now, five hours of homework that I needed to do in approximately 2 1/2 hours time. So what am I doing here? I don't know?

I'll talk tomorrow as I have the day off to wait for Crash Love. I'll post some randomness then.

Math Comes In Handy Sometimes...

As for what I have been doing, I'm not quite sure. As of this moment I am soaking wet and quite dirty from this last training session. I'm only glad that Keith does have some sensible moments and finally allowed training to be moved inside. At this point I have stopped caring but I would rather be inside anyway.

I have been training most of this month and so there really hasn't been anything particularly exciting that has happened. We're all still wondering what's going on with the tournament but be just have to be patient. As for everything else there really isn't much to say. I have to completely redo the keynote that I will give the 28th this year seeing as it's going to be longer and more detailed than years before. That really just means more work for me than anything. At least it will look really sweet, the keynote program is really detailed.

In completely unrelated but exciting news for me, AFI has their entire album on their myspace page for two days. Since the album comes out a week from today you can guarantee that I'm all over the preview. So that's really it for news. Nothing really exciting is really going to happen until the time of the tournament but do take some time to read this blog...you never know what I'll add to it.

I'm So Confused By This Week (Giorno Italiano Di Domanda)

This has honestly been the strangest week that I've had this entire year. I really don't know what happened to the world but it seems that a gloomy fog has just covered everyone. I have tried to ignore it but I couldn't help but be affected by it. Even while ignoring it I couldn't help but feel a little depressed. I guess I do have some happy moments in the week but the misery kinda drowned it out. Perché è questa settimana stata deprimente?

In other news all the Crash Love previews have driven me crazy. I really can't wait until the album comes out. I wish I could keep AFI around forever but even Giovanni knows that's not the smartest of ideas. We already have enough trouble with the ones that we have already. Then again he already allowed me to bend the rules for one. Quanto è uno più?

Training has been getting better though and I appreciate the time that we're taking on getting things right for once. I'm kind of excited again but that might just be because of the excitement that is building up. Rumors have started up again as to the location of this year's tournament and the one that keeps popping up is Russia. I don't think it's going to be there either but once again I'm not sure. Dove sarà il torneo?

It Has Been An Extreemely Long Weekend...

…and by the looks of it, the week is going to be pretty long as well. After my cousin got in trouble I had to leave with his sister and our husbands to go retrieve him from the police on the border of Mexico. Or at least that's how the public story goes... I can guarantee you that there was more to it and the circumstances were far less normal than that. For the meantime however we're going with that story. Of all the things I had planned to do this weekend that was not one of them.

This weekend I had planned to get in some major training time but because of that I didn't have time. Keith would rather I not miss any more training and I really have to agree. I realized over the weekend that I have been getting too laid back which is why everything happens. I am actually putting some effort today which I hope will pay off. I even volunteered to cut back my log time a little so I would have time for more practice and possibly I might have time to learn a new skill today or tomorrow. I'm really excited for the tournament now but I guess that happens sometime in the middle of September every year. Random circumstances get me motivated to do well.

In other news I checked the dates when the tournament was going to be and luckily it falls when most of us have some time off. I have yet to hear anything on location though which is quite odd but we really can't rush the committee to make rash decisions. The dates are convenient but I'm really disappointed that I won't have time after the tournament to go to the beach like Jareth said we could. Oh well, we can't have everything we asked for.

Well I'm going to go back to training since I'm really excited. I don't k ow how sore I'll be tomorrow but I can only hope that it was worth it. I'll talk later I guess.

So Much To Do On A Computer...

It's too bad I don't have that much time. I'm over at the UACA headquarters writing this blog while trying to figure out what's going on with the tournament. I finally had a chance to get on the computer and I notice like a hundred updates to software are available. iTunes 9 came out and I have to say it looks so cool. I also love how easy it is to sync with my phone. I love it! Many crazy things became available in the last 24 hours starting with an update to veronicasawyer.com with a link for the "Fainting Spells" mp3. I am officially in love with this song.

Training has been a real pain today and I can't wait for October to come around. Word is starting to spread that the tournament will be held in somewhere in Africa. It's not confirmed so until we receive news I really don't want to believe it. I was really hoping for somewhere closer since I don't want to go halfway around the world for five days and have to come back. Then again many people will end up having to go halfway around the world if they want to see it.

So I'm off to watch a YouTube video that I was inspired to watch after today. Burning Twilight is my favorite video that I am inspired to burn my copy of twilight. That is really funny just like the European funniest commercial. I think I should get off YouTube.

Random Days Never Get Old

So it's been quite the interesting session today. Keith decided to test my teamwork abilities with a bit of his own creation. Nicole and I were having a lot of fun trying to get through an obstacle course while chained together. Not that it really helps me for anything but it's still quite fun to do and just in case we ever do get in a situation like that we'll know exactly what to do.

I'm hanging around headquarters right now seeing as I have duty today. I was supposed to have my blog time yesterday but it got pushed away by all of the stuff that I needed to take care of. As much as I plan and have my perfect schedule it never turns out the way I planned. Things get pushed back and other things get wiped off my schedule. The only thing that never seems to diminish during these months is the enormous amount of training that I have to do.

This is quite random but it is Wednesday so I have a good excuse. I was walking around headquarters earlier and I noticed this sign on the front door to our military directors office. I thought it was quite funny but when I asked her about it she told me she was completely serious because they were taking all of her concentration from her. So all the energy vampires in the UACA are not allowed in her office.

So I'm not really going to explain much anymore since I'm supposed to be doing my duty and not writing in the blog. I hope that I can finally get some blog time tomorrow.

What Was Wrong With Today?

So many odd things happened today so I just have to ask myself, what happened? I had a strange day at school where everyone (including myself) was acting differently than what we're used to. Also during training I have noticed that Kieth (my amazing trainer) was pushing me harder than all of the other years. It's harsh but necessary. I'm glad that I gave myself time to post this but unfortunately it has been stopped short. I guess that's what I get for missing a day and going out to annoy a student driver on the highway.

In other news Jareth said that after the tournament we could go hang out in Italy. I have to go and see Cosimo and Peiro anyway so maybe we can go back to the beach after that. I am so addicted to the beach now which is really silly seeing as I could have seen it years ago but it's only until now that I really think about it.

The tournament is going to take place as usual on October 20-25th and I don't know what days that will be so I'll get back to you with a tournament update. I still haven't checked what the schedule for school will be. I hope it doesn't interfere with the tournament because I don't want to look too suspicious.

Ok so I was totally going to write in my blog last night but I got way sidetracked. Training has began and life for me is going to be pretty routine from now on. I won't forget you though as I have scheduled blog time to update this on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That's pretty much all I have been doing lately. I really don't know what is going to happen this year but I can only hope that it doesn't kill me as much as the years before.

Of All The Things That Could Only Happen To Me...

They just have to pick the things that I do not want. I guess I can fuel the rumors seeing as the ceremony is tomorrow. As I'm sure you've heard if you're in the council, Giovanni has selected me to be his successor for his position in the Council. Of course this won't be for at least a couple hundred (if not thousands) of years from now. Hopefully I'll have time to adjust by them.

In other news I've had quite a weird first two weeks at school. In these two weeks I met the only guy in the the world that hates a Mac that I actually like. My physics teacher's lung collapsed so he was out for the week. My history teacher also had a surgery and left halfway through the week. Crazy weeks deserve nothing but blissful ignorance.

Other than that I've been feeling a bit down at the things that have happened to me this week. It's all just too much for me to handle all at once.

I'll post later, hopefully sometime this month (probably the 25th since it's the day "Medicate" comes out). Starting September I start training for the tournament again. Can you believe that it's almost that time again?

Finally... Here You Go... (Honeymoon Pictures)

So here I am...with the top five pictures from the honeymoon. Almost all of them were blurry but I am absolutely sure that some of these pictures have never before been seen because the company that took them told us they weren't released because it was too blurry for anything that they wanted to do with them.

So lets begin:
The first is the unreleased picture of the night on the beach. We enjoyed the fact there was no one around and we did eventually go into the ocean (leaving me soaking wet in a $2000 wedding dress...) but this is when we were just watching the waves.
Next comes the morning after (NO, I'm not posting ANY of the pictures in between the last one and this one EVER) on a yacht that took us around the water. We fell off the yacht eventually and had to get off and go find something to change into before out next adventure

In this next picture We're out exploring the rocks right by the cliffs. This is where Jareth tried to push me into the water (yet again)..

This is possibly the most featured (and controversial) photo in all of the magazines. It's just a picture of Jareth and I sitting on the beach. What caused controversy? Well It's the middle of the day. I'm now being claimed as a masochist and possibly a sadist for taking him with me. I assure you I'm none of the above (and you can quote me on that).

No, This Is Most Likely Not What You're Expecting...

Sorry for the wait but if you can believe it, I'm still not done going through the pictures. Oh and I made a bet with Jareth that I could put 25 different links in this post so bare with me.

I'm sure most of you have given up already but I will post them soon(ish). Right now I've been really busy with the tweet to reveal thing. Come help us, we can only do it once per 2000 tweets so we definitely need more participants. It's getting crazy. I already went to check Jade's and Hunter's blog but nothing new so far.

Other than that, today is a Sabbat so that will occupy my night. After that I will most likely check anything new on the DF site and hopefully we'll have gotten further. I was watching one of the rewards for the tweets and now I'm excited.

After this I'm going to check my email and make sure I have enough money on my Gold Card to take my friend to Starbucks. My WiFi System has been failing me today but I just heard that the new 2TB Time Capsule came out.

Then I'm off to play games and do some online shopping. I'm thinking of making a custom Goth Rosary but I'm not sure exactly how I want to design it. I also need to get some candles and some more herbs because I'm starting to run out and the Esbat is August 5th. The weird thing is that I had herbs and stuff for rituals but I'm barely going to do my dedication ritual tonight. Well anyway I'm on my way into the wiccan way of life and I shall consider the wiccan rede and my book of shadows closely

So my in-laws are hosting a dinner party tomorrow and they would like Jareth and I to go with them. However this is a very formal party and so they explained the rules for the dinner. As they were mentioning this I came up with the idea for all the mistakes that could possibly (probably) happen during the party. So here's the top 10.

Top ten mistakes at dinner parties:

1. Having the dinner you order be cooked to "imperfection".
2. Spilling your drink on someones lap.
3. Silence.
4. Fighting.
5. Getting drunk.
6. Rude comments.
7. Poison another guest.
8. Acting like an idiot.
9. Being an idiot.
10. Not know how to respond to a question.

After The Tide Passes (Wedding Recap)

Well, I had really expected Nicole to make a post on the blog for me but seeing as she didn't I'm doing one now. For those who missed out, I did have my wedding on Saturday in the Florence Cathedral. I was not actually expecting to have my wedding there but thanks to Giovanni I was in for more than I really expected.

Seeing as my contacts flooded me with pictures the day after I guess it's only fair to share some. For those who were not there, consider yourselves lucky.

I'm pretty sure that there are pictures of the honeymoon seeing as some have already begun to circulate but I have yet to get a hold of some (if someone wants to send me some I'll post them too seeing as they'll be released as well). Nice Guys Finish Last (Day Six)

Location: Rome

So this is the last day for the parties, it's the guy's night. Since I'm not allowed to go and I can't throw a separate party, I was stuck with nothing. I at least hope that Jareth is having fun with whatever it was that the boys set him up with...

Andrea said that we should go take some pictures near the ruins. She wanted a picture of us with one of our old school uniforms. After going through all of my suitcases I managed to find one. So did Kelli and Andrea, but none of the others.

So this is my picture of the day, Kelli, Andrea, and I on the ruins a bit south of Rome. I think that the most miraculous part is that we can still fit into them. Then again, Kelli and I haven't changed much since then. I actually realized that Andrea hasn't changed much either, she's still the same in most ways (she even has her hair dyed the same way it was in school!) and with the uniform she looks as young as she was then. Who says med schools puts years on you fast? Also, I think Kelli should look towards the camera more often, we rarely get pictures with her looking straight ahead.

It was fun while it lasted, I'll get back tomorrow with a potential surprise and/or news. After that I'll probably post back in a couple of days, or I'll have Nicole do it.

Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble (Day Five)

Okay, for those who saw the error when I posted it, thank you for correcting me. For those who didn't see it, good. I was typing the blog and on the title I said it was day three again, it has been changed so stop bugging me. Also for those who have been complaining that I say today when it was really yesterday (since any time before midnight is considered "tomorrow") be aware that I write these things after I get back from the party and it will usually be after midnight so the party did go into "today".

Today was my bachelorette party. There are things I really would rather not comment about and some that I definitely should not comment about. Overall, it was awkward at best and I definitely enjoyed myself. My friends from Oxford thought it would be great to sing onstage together. I thought it was a completely horrible idea but I couldn't help but want to do it too. Well since I started on that I might as well finish it. Here's the picture of the day. It's a picture of Phoebe, Amanda, and me onstage. Recipe for disaster... I got a lizard airbrushed on the front but it's really hard to see in the picture. I have a picture where I'm facing front but it's too embarrassing to show on here...

Tomorrow I won't have the scoop on the party but I will have something else (maybe!).

That was our last day in London and everyone is getting ready to go to our next destination. It wouldn't be a great party if it didn't involve moving around a little.

Also, for those who were not aware of the changes to the schedule for later tomorrow and the day after I managed to get a copy of the notice that Nicole and Kelli made. They insisted that I have a bachelorette party and so they decided to take the next two days to have a separate party for Jareth and I. I didn't get to decide nothing so I wonder what crazy things they came up with, although after reading the notice I already fear for my life. Well anyway, here's the notice.

So after today there's no more parties here in London but I really could not get anyone to hold still during the party for a picture. However, I have a bunch of pictures that I got from this morning at Jareth's house.

I can't believe it's already Tuesday! This is going quick and the last thing that I need is to have it go quicker. Not much has happened that is more exciting then the rest so not much to report that you don't already know.

Omar (who we all call the leopard) arrived today with his experiment (who is called Blanca or Ivette depending on her mood) and so that was the inspiration for the picture of today taken in Jareth's house after the party ended. I can only guess this is Ivette but who knows?

Keeps On Going (Day Two)

Well there's been a lot of talk and a lot of partying and now games. After all what's a party when the games are left out?

Picture of the day, from early morning outside when we were all in a scavenger hunt. Kelsey was on the list and we (well you can probably guess but it's Anthony and Hector in case you didn't know) hid her in a bucket of apples. We really should have thought of putting her in there before we filled the thing with apples but it was more fun doing it this way. Funny thing is that no one found her right away so she stayed in there for about an hour. I didn't get to participate because I knew where everything was.

First day was a success if I can say that. We had a great night with a lot of people who had the time to come down, and more who were not expected to perform. It was rock night and so obviously we had a lot of volunteers to go on stage. Overall it was fun and my friends had fun.

Let's get this started

Well the party officially begins in a few hours and I'll try to keep in touch in between nights but I can't guarantee anything. For everyone who has a pass to the party, details are in the brochure as to where the party will be for the day, what hours it will be open, who will be there as far as the important and celebrity appearances, as well as the itinerary for flights. The VIP brochures include an extra flight/day plan with another trip to the location and an invitation to my wedding.

For those who were not invited it wasn't because I don't like you but the most important people who were going (my Oxford friends, important leaders, personal friends, etc.) had to come first and the passes were very limited because of the ability of flights and space in the venues.

Also, I have to mention (for those who might start to wonder) that none of the passes (including VIP passes) were sold. If you had a pass and sold it then you just lucked out because you won't be admitted without the pass and the one who bought the pass can't enter if their name isn't on the list.

I'm going to try to post a blog every night with details of the day, and maybe a surprise...Who knows what will go into my mind to do.

I'm not about to leave you with nothing so here's a little bonus. A picture from yesterday for those who haven't seen me...

Oh, and since the time thing is messed up on the blog because it doesn't change time zones I found this thing that lists the times. As I move around I will add a different clock to the bottom of my post.

Now I'm sure everyone wants to relax and that includes me so if you're not from the London headquarters then you won't be allowed access unless it is completely unrelated to this. You people made me get up and write this because you won't listen to anyone when they tell you the same thing. I'll be available tomorrow morning for the briefings and a conference. Do I Really Have To Comment?

So for the last three weeks I have been stuck as a goddess for the Wicca people. It's nice to be finally free and away from them. So what do I do? Write a blog post.

I finally realized that I'm so excited for the party that there's no way that I will cancel it just because Giovanni wants me to get married because of it. In fact I am even more ecstatic for the wedding even though it's not going to be exactly how I want it. Short notice is not great.

If that hasn't given you a hint I'll say it in clear words. I'm getting married this month! If you could see me now you would fear for your life. (I was going to say something really pathetic here but I edited it out.)

It's going to be great but I'm not going to post the date, time, or place because most of you are not invited. Those who know are forbidden to say anything. I'll post stuff after the wedding anyway. Of course the press will have it ready for you guys before I ever will. I'm going to be really dependent on my friends to take pics and send them to me so I can post them, probably the next day. Gives people a reason to look at my blog...

So I'm in London ready to have a party that I've been planning for quite a while. Everything is ready except for me. I'm working on it. Still to decide what I'm going to do in the meantime. Before I leave...

I'm heading out to England in just a little bit so I wanted to write this post before I left. There is only going to be little short sentences of news seeing as I really don't have time. First, as I'm sure everyone has heard, Micheal Jackson is gone. Second, everyone who was in our sorority is coming to the party in two weeks. Last, July is coming up which means traveling and craziness is about to occur. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

I Am Seriously Waiting...

...for the iPhone update to come out. I actually have hopes that it will be released at midnight and I'm sitting by the computer right now waiting. I'm also updating this I guess but that is quite obviously happening. The only problem I see with my logic is that it is almost 2 in the morning in New York and really the only time zone that matters is California where it will barely be 11pm. I have messed up logic but I'm going to try it anyway.

200th Post!

Yup, this is the 200th post that I've placed on this blog. I have tons of news for you people and this is definitely going to be the longest post I've written in a while. There's so much that has happened in the last couple of weeks and I'm so excited to share half of the stuff. So let's begin...

I finished school for the summer. Well not really because I'm still going to school at the academy and I'm enjoying studying abroad. Since the academy allows me to start in one place and move around to the schools I love being able to travel. School's been fun and I'm excited to say that. Since school is over that means that I have to get started and plan all of the things that I should be doing and all the things I want to do.

France was the first stop in the many I plan to take in the year. I had to go see my cousin who has been confused for me for some reason. We don't even look alike! At least not right now. The people who confused her for me have not seen me in years so how is it that they possibly thought that my cousin was me. They even saw me leave and promise never to see them again. Well now I had to go and see them because they didn't believe that my cousin was not me. They didn't believe that I was me either but that was more their problem then mine. I managed to convince them otherwise and they finally let us go. It was a real waste of 3 days if you ask me but they didn't seem to mind. They threw a giant marble at me! I was not amused.

I took advantage of the proximity of Italy to go for a vacation with Jareth and see if Ferrari had done anything new to the FXX. Nothing extremely new but they did let me drive the FXX on the Fiorano track for a while. It's great to know that I can drive the car. I don't personally own the car but I know who does and they let me take that for a spin. After that I got to go spend a couple of days in party mode. My aunt decided to mess with us and she played a horrible prank on us. It was potentially dangerous to do it but she felt that she had to do it. Jareth and I spent almost a complete day to find out way back and grab our stuff and we left. We didn't leave because of what my aunt did but because the WWDC was about to start and we couldn't miss the keynote.




























The WWDC 2009 was in California this year. We only went to see the keynote that happened yesterday seeing as we're not developers and really had nothing else to do. I really wished Steve Jobs was giving the keynote because he really knew how to get people excited for the new products. It was a really fun experience and we learned a lot of great stuff. They announced a new style for the 15 inch Macbook Pro and they changed the style of the 13 inch MacBook which will now be called a MacBook Pro. They also released the new OS for Mac. Snow Leopard. Congrats Apple! The name is amazing but that might just be me cuz I love leopards and snow. That was not really what I went to the conferance for and Apple gave me what I really wanted to hear.



























They're releasing the new Iphone OS 3.0. 100 new features and who knows what else can be added. Still no MMS which gets really annoying sometimes but they said that AT&T will come out with it soonish(hopefully). The best news is what comes next. The iPhone 3G S! I am so going to get it. I'm personally excited for the 32GB capability. June 17th for OS 3.0 and June 19th for the iPhone 3G S! I'm counting down!

I'm probably going to be staying in Colorado doing stuff for the UACA and spending some time with Jareth until the end of June. I have to wait and I'm getting impatiant. Waiting has never been my strong suit. Spending time with Jareth is going to be an upside though. I don't forsee any problems for now and I really hope that it stays that way.

In July England is going to be a blast. The party is already set and I'm ready to go. Well, almost. There's only so much that I can be prepared for before the time comes. Everyone has been excited I managed to get a time where everyone could come in one day. The party is going to last five days and a trip around England is going to be amazing. We have a wicked lineup of performers and yes, that includes me. I have been forced into this but if I really want to recap the good old days then I will have to.

The party comes with a problem as well. Giovanni wants to take advantage of the party and the situation to see if he can push his way into it. He wants me to get married in Florence as soon as possible. I have already planned the wedding but I had yet to set a date and a month from now is a big difference from two years from now. I'm not entirely sure that I'm ready for this. I have until the beginning of July to chose. A shotgun wedding is not what I was hoping for but nothing goes how I hoped. I'm still not sure but I'll be thinking about it.

So that's what's been going on for the last couple of weeks. I'm not exactly sure of where I'm headed but I intend to have as much fun as possible along the way. I hope all of you guys have been having a good summer and I'll see you guys soonish hopefully.

Random Update

I really don't have much to say right now...I know weird right? I haven't had anything really exciting happen and the rest is old news by now. I'm really excited about the end of the school year and of course the party over the summer.

Did I ever mention how much funny stuff you can find on YouTube? I totally found videos from the #1 Twilight fan which made me laugh my head off. What do you think?







Wow if this does not make you laugh at her sheer stupidity I don't know what will.

Oh! Now I remember why I was writing this in the first place! Just kidding, this is way too important for me to forget. Today is the 10 year anniversary of Black Sails in the Sunset. Being one of my favorites I can't help but be super excited because even though ten years have passed it is still strong. If you have never listened to Black Sails in the Sunset I recommend listening to it now. Like right this minute!

Well since you people won't leave me alone and demand a post here it is! I really have nothing to say lately it's been quiet and nothing has happened. So this is my post so you don't say that I have abandoned my blog or something stupid like that...seriously those are the kinds of emails that I get when I don't post anything...

You know what's really annoying...

• The fact that they are way too easy to break and they are designed that way so you have to buy another one sooner
• When you can't seem to figure out how to make them work
• The time it takes for a cell phone to turn on
• The fact that some phones just won't cooperate
• Dropped calls

That's it for my rant on cell phones because I think I broke yet another one and I have no idea what to do about that...well except buy another one...

Hello!

I created a new template! What do you think? Love it, hate it, what was I thinking? Tell me! I personally like it but I don't know.

I guess a lot of things have been settled in the last couple of days and it's time to move on. I think that we need to enjoy life more. This is not going to be a real update but rather a random things post. I will post real things later so this is only a one time thing.

Let's start with some anti-twilight pictures. I don't know why anyone likes this book at all so here's a few things I saw.
